Choosing Christ  -- the choice you'll never regret

Like us, you’ve heard person after person claim that Christianity is based on a myth and that God isn’t real.
Yet, also like us, you know in your heart that there’s more to the "faith thing" than what non-believers have told you.

You’ve heard that inner, quiet voice from God’s Spirit telling you there’s a better way to peace than through things or substances or thrilling pleasure.  Yes, you’ve made bad choices, yet God still spoke to your heart of His love and desire to spend forever with you.

You’re here at this site because you’re searching for answers. No information here will save you. What you read here, however, can point you toward the One who CAN save you.

Despite the horror of His suffering on the cross, something He chose for your sake, Jesus never regretted His decision. He knew that He had to choose you first if you were ever to have the option of choosing Him.

Choose wisely.  Choose to live forever for His sake.  It’s a decision you’ll never regret.

The Simple Gospel for searching people
This 10-finger path to peace was developed by a children's Sunday school class. It is SO clear and SO true.
Embrace it and your life will be forever blessed.  Share it and another's life will be pointed toward the path of hope.
God is waiting for you to make the right choice. Make it today.  An eternity of blessings await you either way.

Assured of heaven

"Jesus declared, 'I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
"How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"
"Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit."

'I've confessed Jesus publicly and been baptized.  Will my life be easier now?'

In some ways, your earthly life will become easier.
You'll experience new blessings of more people who take a sincere interest in your well-being.
And you'll experience the confidence of knowing that the Savior who died for you is your Advocate in heaven, asking for blessings and mercy in your behalf.
The more important blessings resulting from your decision, however, are not found in this life.  Instead, they are waiting for you in heaven.

I'm talking about the blessings of perfect fellowship with God, the blessing of seeing  Christian loved ones in heaven and the blessing of a heavenly reward greater than we can imagine.
Against the backdrop of all these benefits is something that
you must remember, though, if you are to continue in the life of blessing.
The Enemy we know as the Devil doesn't want you to live for God and His Son Jesus Christ.  He wants you to think that they don't care about you.
That's why he'll try to disrupt your life with all sorts of problems and "problem" people.
That's what he did with Bible people and that's what he does today.
Just remember that you're not alone now. You invited Christ onto the throne of your heart via confession of faith and baptism and you have the Holy Spirit as your Guide and Comforter.
You also have other Christians to help you, as explained in the adjoining article.
Here is the wrap-up: the more Jesus you have in you, the more power you have against the Devil.
Victories won't always come easily, but they will last eternally.

'Why do I need a church home?'

  Fair question.
After all, people can be hard to live with.
Remember, though, that you've caused your share of headaches in this world, too.
The fact is that God made us to need people.  We're social beings.
We will end up spending time with people in one place or another.
And where we spend our time in this life has a lot of influence on where we'll spend forever in the next life.
That's why you need to be part of a church family.  Christians aren't perfect, but on the whole, they help you far more than they hurt you.
The above question perhaps is best answered with another question:  "Why does a newborn need a loving family to care for it?"
Just as an infant can't survive in a jungle filled with predators and "me first" scavengers, neither can a new Christian survive alone in a world filled with spiritual predators and selfish scavengers.
New believers need help.  If you are one, get help from a church.  If you don't know where to look, write us and we'll help you.
If you're not a new believer, find somebody who is and offer to help them.  Now.

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.   Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul."
