Wisdom amidst tough choices
Tough times require tough decisions.
Cutbacks are part of every corporate and household budget now.
Mine included.
A comprehensive review of what is "nice" and what is "necessary" is underway.
I'm sure that you recall the phrase, "It was nice while it lasted."
My list of such "nice" things is being compiled now so that they might be phased out.
The full-blown website set-up for the Morning Devotion is nice and represents a ton of work. But the core message of this ministry can be conveyed more frugally in other ways and that's what I'll be pursuing in the coming weeks.
Full insurance coverage for my SUV is nice because of the protection offered if someone decides to steal a CD player or toolbox via a smashed window. But the reason I have the vehicle is to get from here to there. I don't need a CD player to accomplish that task. Click for more | | Good morning!
It's not easy being godly in an ungodly world. Sometimes, we need some words to inspire or guide us. I certainly do and that's why I'm so grateful that God provides me daily insights that help me and those who read them.
